With its powerful six-cylinder engine, rear-wheel drive and finely balanced, sport-tuned chassis, the G35 didn't gingerly dip its toe into the entry-level luxury sport sedan/coupe waters. Rather, it took a flying leap, did a cannonball and splashed cold water all over the BMW 3 Series.…

Despite the American notion of fast muscle machines, there is a growing demand for the economically conscious vehicles. Rising cost for fuel and more demanding regulations for emissions will likely increase demand for the types of vehicles FAIT is providing and the new, leaner Chrysler is producing. The wave of hybrid models and fully electric vehicles already in FIAT''s stables may give FIAT the leverage it is seeking and hoping on, in the American market.…

    Kohler Case Study

    • 5 Pages

The $55,400 price per share is an undervalued figure because it is presuming that Kohler will remain a private company in the future with the same ownership structure that it presently maintains. After analyzing the projected balance sheets, projected income statements, and projected statements of cash flows Herbert Kohler’s team arrived at the share price of $55,400. However, the shareholders in this case did not know that an eventual IPO would lead to a much higher stock valuation. At the time they did not think there was any reason for Kohler Co. to buy back shares because they believed it would remain private. Since there was such a small public market for the company’s shares, which was already inflated because of speculation of an IPO, a lower price of $55,500 was more reasonable because Kohler was expected to remain private and there was no need for extra compensation in case of windfall on their returns.…

Technology has been advancing dramatically and so have supercars. Because of the vast advancement of technology supercars are evolving at an unbelievable speed. Supercars have mainly advanced through engineering, styling, and performance. “Since the 1960s, many supercars have come and gone, but many have left their mark on the supercar world for their breakthroughs in engineering, styling and technology. Notable models have included the 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo, with its rear-mounted, turbocharged engine, still found in many supercars today. The 1987 Ferrari F40, one of the most extreme supercars ever made, was the last car commissioned by Enzo Ferrari himself, and relied on its aerodynamic shape instead of power for speed. Most recently, we 've seen the 2005 Bugatti Veyron, the first production car in the world with more than 1000 brake horsepower, and the current benchmark for power.” (ehow. Demand Media Inc.) Companies all around the world are competing to see who can make the best supercar in…

    Lamborghini speech

Ferruccio Lamborghini’s mechanical know-how led him to enter the business of tractor manufacturing in 1948, quickly becoming an important manufacturer of agricultural equipment in Italy. In 1959, he opened an oil heater factory which later produced air conditioners. Lamborghini’s companies were doing very well allowing him to purchase faster, more expensive cars, such as Alfa Romeos, Jaguars, Maserati’s and Ferraris. Of all of these he liked the Ferrari’s the best but he still had some annoyances. He said they were, “ too noisy and rough to be proper road cars” and called them “repurposed track cars with poorly built interiors” Although, the part he hated most was the continuous need for rebuilds and tune ups. This caused him to modify his very own Ferrari 250GT, which outperformed all of Ferrari’s stock models. This gave him the confidence to pursue automobile manufacturing. Lamborghinis main goal in creating a new brand of performance cars was “high performance without compromising tractability, ride quality, and interior appointments.” Lamborghini started to manufacture his own performance road cars in 1963.…
