I have been working for Intermountain Health Care for almost three years and can say that is one of the most organized and strategic organization I have worked for. Intermountain Health care is a nonprofit organization with a wide system of clinics, surgery centers and hospitals. I think this organization follows the Strategic Human Resource management, this way they can identify areas where strategies can be implemented now or in the future, using the appropriates tools, employee motivation, trainings, education, productivity, providing support and strategic directions to employees and leaders, supporting organization changes, development and effectiveness .
Intermountain Human Resources management understands
the scope of Strategic operations; “This includes leadership competency development, succession planning, and designing and facilitating development for current and future Intermountain leaders” (Intermountain Health care).
For any organization a partnership between Human Resources and line managers will require adjustment in the system and structure. Intermountain Health Care managers are very involved in the development of strategies and operation. I think Intermountain Health Care already have a partnership between HR and line managers, they are very involved and this is one of the strategies they have to make this organization successful and innovating systems.
