Case Study: Pengelolaan Lingkungan Cibungur
TBM Pengelolaan Lingkungan Cibungur established in October 2009 which was initiated a couple of people from the community who have the Cibungur Cadets Reef “Karang Taruna” Initiative to promote their hometown. TBM is in a living room that is transformed into a reading room and gathering place with a total collection of about 3,500 books. TBM has finally become a Center for information, learning tools and educational recreational facility that will benefit society especially in the activity of reading. In addition as a place to read a book, also became a container where the entire activity is also learning and teaching activities.

Information literacy activities at the TBM had been run with optimal enough though conceptually not yet fully understood, but literacy activities practically has been implemented with the aim of making society which existed in Cibungur of the failed may pursue other activities in an effort to increase knowledge, skills and soft skills.
The users of the TBM, as students who have the task of school teachers needed to solve the problem of Indonesian Language or to make decisions in their assignment for the benefit of education, through the process of sourcing the information on TBM, find the source of the information they are looking forwith accompanied or without accompanied volunteers TBM and utilize a wide array of information from a variety of sources that have been obtained for the delivered or communicated into a new knowledge in an efficient, effective and ethical. The end result of this activity is to have students literacy skills that ultimately become a lifelong
