For my practicum field experience, I am interning at Pittsburgh Mercy: A Heritage of Hope (PM: HH). Historically, Pittsburgh Mercy Health System (PMHS) is an extension of the Catholic Ministry care ministry to all people in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The organization’s policies and approaches for services delivery replicate the mission and values of Catholic Health East. Additionally, the organization was developed and sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and is a part of Trinity Health.

The unit serves 500-700 clients (consumers), and includes six teams. Each team includes a supervisor and 10-to-15 service coordinators (SC) and aids a specific population, such as adults, adolescents, and children. PMBH-SCU provides outpatient services and individualized supportive services to clients of the Pittsburgh Mercy Health System (PMHS). Moreover, this federal regulation required that the organization developed and maintain a privacy compliance notice (Notice of Privacy Practices), which informs person served and employees of the possible ways in which PMHS may use and disclose their health information from this record. Additionally, the notice describes how PMHS will protect person (s) serve’s rights, and certain obligations the organization have regarding the use and disclosure of health information. Through this policy, PMHS pledged to keep health information as confidential as possible. This rules applies o all employees, programs, and services operated by PMHS. More precisely, Mercy Behavioral Health ministry has its individualized policies, which administer program services. In keeping with the core values of Catholic Health Eats and Pittsburgh Mercy Health, the division provides quality care by offering four levels of
