PREFACE
Thèse days institutes have started giving more and more stress on the management training as it is the first interface of a management student with the culture of the corporate world and it also gives the first hand experience to use the knowledge aquired by them through their faculty in the class in the corporate world.
Our Institute has also been looking in the same direction and also determined to produce quality students who are having a balanced knowledge of both theoritical aspects and the practical knowledge as well and on the same content we have to undergo a summer Project of 6 – 8 weeks in a company.
To cover this aspect which is the part of the curriculum, I went for the training at MAX NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE. Max New York Life Insurance Company Limited is a joint venture between Max India Limited, which is a one of India 's leading multi-business corporate, and New York Life International, which is a Fortune 100 company & global expert in life insurance. Max New York Life Insurance started its commercial operations in India in 2001. It is the first life insurance company in India to be awarded the IS0 9001:2000 certification
I have a keen interest to be in a répute organisation in the training and development sector as a HR person. I took the topic A STUDY ON TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT PROCESS AND TRAINING NEED ANALYSIS IN MAX NEW YORK LIFE INSURANCE. This is the project, which is the mirror of my sweet and bitter
