Case Study: Short Haul Driver
Ms. Espinoza stated the claimant was hired as Short Haul Driver on 8-3-2015. He drove a blue company van to and from the insured’s place of business and to other business throughout the Orange and Los Angeles Counties. She said the claimant driven approximately 7-8 hours per day and would return the van back to the company before leaving work at the end of his 8-hour work shift.
She said the claimant’s daily work activities did not involve repetitive hand movements or other movements involving his arms, hands, or legs.
Ms. Espinoza stated that the claimant is an hourly based employee and earned approximately $10.00 per hour. He worked on average 40 hours a week, 8-hours per day, 5 days a week.
