Case Study: Summer Hotel Berhad
Summer Hotel Berhad is a public corporation in service industry in term of hospitality provided to local customer and tourisms. It has five years of history where it established in November 2012. Summer Hotel was located in Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur. In 2016, another hotel was establish in Singapore. The corporation has over 350 employees. The name “Summer” come from the idea of founder that described our country’s weather.
Proper manpower planning also called as human resource planning to allocate the appropriate number of person with different skills to the suitable function or department at the right time. On the other hand, the planning must be review periodically for cope with changing trend of business or technology. (Smith, 2017) Recruitment is making decision for best applicants to

If the competency of candidate is not accurately evaluation, he or she may make mistakes affect company’s productivity. And he or she need to be replaced or retrained, this will become a cost to company.
Imagine spending money and time to recruit a new employee, only find out the employee is not suitable for the position and the recruitment cycle needed to be started again. It is an expensive choice to make a bad hire decision, so in order to avoid it, HR department need to do a well preparation and planning to make it done right.
When having vacancy, Summer Hotel Berhad’s HR management will do the necessary step to hire a new employee in order to avoid recruit a wrong employee to organization, as it will cause a financial loss for organization.
The obligation of employer is to treat every employee equally and avoid occurrence of discrimination. Traditionally, male are having more capability to work compare to female, but nowadays female also can work and work better than male as well. A company need not only recruit male but as well as
