• Teaching Anna how to analyze her feelings in terms of whether she is truly sick or not, these thoughts may often affect how she really feels.
The following recommendations are in regards Anna scoring in the At-Risk range on the Sensation Seeking scale of the SRP:
• Teaching Anna that participating in risky behaviors may have negative impacts on her life.
The following recommendations are in regards Anna scoring in the At-Risk range on the Atypicality scale of the SRP:
• Ensuring that Anna’s repetitious behaviors doesn’t have a negative impact on her life, and helping her find a way to break the cycle.
The following recommendations are in regards Anna scoring in the Clinically-significant range on the Somatization seeking scale of the SRP:
• Further testing Anna in terms of the sources of her anxiety and stresses, as this are commonly linked to somatic complaints.
• Further testing Anna for any possible environmental stresses that may contribute to her somatic complaints.
• Assisting Anna with controlling her thoughts so that she can recognize the difference between the feelings of being sick and the thought.
