Recently, there has been growing interest in studying Hollywood movies and criticizing their content, their message and their cast. The relationship between the actors and the movies they starred in has been investigated by many researchers. One out of an entirely ‘legion’ of Hollywood actors is the Australian actress, Cate Blanchett. During the last years of the twentieth century, Hollywood was asking, “Who is she?” (Altman, 2000, p. 78). But nowadays she is one of the most wanted actresses in all the studios around the world.
