A Day of Being a Cato Associate July 31, 2011, was my first day of working at Cato. As, my training process began I learned the basics, "the definitions." For instance, Secret shoppers is when we are being evaluated by a customer, but you never know if they are a regular customer or the secret shopper, so you have to tell them about our lawaway program, the Cato charge card, compliment there clothing or anything that they have on. Item of the week means every week he have a goal of selling the particular merchandise. For example, if the item of the week is scarves, whiYe checking them out we ask, " Can I suggest you a scarf to go with this?" We also have Make Your Day, which changes daily, we have a goal to meet daily, by me being an associate
