Mental disorders are diseases that have plagued the world for years; one of the worst of these disorders being Paranoid Schizophrenia. In 1896 the terrible disorder was first named dementia praecox by Emil Kraeplin. Later in 1911 Eugene Bleuler renamed the disorder to dementia praecox schizophrenia (three common features). Diagnosis for a paranoid schizophrenic takes time, the patient’s doctor or mental health provider will go through several tests before diagnosing a patient as a schizophrenic. Symptoms that are generally exhibited by a person that is a paranoid schizophrenic are; anxiety, anger, violence, hallucinations, delusions, and or suicidal thoughts and behaviors the key symptoms being the delusions and hallucinations. It is important if a person exhibits any symptoms of paranoid schizophrenia to see a doctor or mental health provider as soon as possible (nih.gov). Even the great inventor Albert Einstein had a son by the name of Eduard Einstein that was a paranoid schizophrenic. There are many people that are many others one very influential artist that was also a paranoid schizophrenic is Vincent Van Gough, although he was not diagnosed till after his death many doctors and professionals all agree that he was a paranoid schizophrenic, although at the time of his life his artwork was not considered anything great by any means today it is some of the most sought after pieces and much of his work was done after the time that he would have peaked with the terrible disorder. Just because a person is diagnosed in as a paranoid schizophrenic does not mean that life can not continue. In fact as these people have shown some of the best things can come from a person that has such a horrible disease plaguing them (symptoms of
