In 2000 I graduated from Gulfport High School and furthered my education at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Jefferson Davis campus where I graduated with an associate degree in General Studies. Unfortunately after graduation I did not go into that area right away.
I was introduced to my husband Sedrick where we married in the year of 2005. After we had been married for a short period of time we had our first daughter. Now six years later we have been blessed with a son.
For the past two years I have been employed with Gulf Coast Community Action Agency. I have fallen in love with teaching preschool age children. After I obtain my CDA certification my short term goals will be to obtain a degree in early childhood education. By fulfilling my goal as an early childhood educator I can be a better parent and a better role model in my community.
My present career as an assistant teacher with GCCAA began smoothly and I was more than happy to grab the opportunity. Today, I am happy with my life and enjoy it to the fullest.
