We watch all the shows, the movies, and read all about them on magazines, reviews, books. They’re everywhere, she says that when we watch these celebrities or read about them we fantasizes about being in there position, being rich, having so many people adore you, and having all the lights and cameras flashing at you.

Let’s face it, Deborah KIng is speaking the truth. It’s kind of like a fairy tale, we always want to be a prince/princess and being able to actually see this form from someone who had nothing and was a nobody to become someone and have everything. Seeing this happen makes everyone so amazed and in love with celebrities because they want to know how that person did it what they were, and how much they make, literally they want to get inside that celebrities life and become exactly like them.

I agree with Deborah King because she says that celebrities are like our Gods and how we fantasize about how our lives would become there's, my opinion is that we do fantasies and dream about what it would be like to be in a celebrity's shoes, to have money, and be known. For example at one of Katy Perry’s concerts a fan in the audience jump onto the stage and was in tears holding onto Katy like she was the last person on Earth. The fan was escorted out of the auditorium, but the point is she was attacking Katy and security rushed help her get the

Celebrities are generally seen as highly successful with highly eventful lives. These lives are publicized through tabloids or T.V. shows that exemplify the personal lives of these highly regarded icons. Through these glimpses at the lives of celebrities, people see small and likely manipulated fragments of these people’s lives and begin to form opinions about them without actually knowing the person.…

The concept of Celebrity and Fame are ones that affect relationships both positively and negatively. Fame refers to the state of being known by many people, and Celebrity is the noun for a famous person. The experiences and perspectives of celebrities who have gone through the process of Fame have all had their relationships affected by their status both positively and negatively - whether it is a celebrity's relationship with corporations, the concept of Fame or their peers and rivals. This statement is supported by Brian Caswell's novel _Asturias,_ Jay Z and Justin Timberlake's song _Holy Grail,_ and Donna Rockwell's article _'Fame is a Dangerous Drug: a phenomenal glimpse of celebrity"_ all showcase these arguments with textual evidence. In brief, textual evidence have been provided to establish the implications Fame present on a celebrity's relationships.…

American culture has been shaped and influence by visual entertainment in so many ways. Celebrities influence our society every day. In this society celebrities have a large impact on people life. From cars to fashion trends, the way they live, their attractiveness of a celebrity lifestyle, can influence a person behavior and their beliefs. Celebrities even have this weight loss thing going on, as if it’s not ok to be overweight. This often starts at an early age in a kid’s life. My oldest niece is 10 years old and she wants to be like ever young star she sees on TV. She always tells me she can’t eat too much because she doesn’t want to gain too much weight. It’s crazy because she actually sits at the table and pretends as if she isn’t really hungry. She chooses to imitate Hannah Montana. She love her she look up to her as an idol. As a child I looked up to celebrities because they all had big money. Any celebrity you know has a nice car, house, and job. Jennifer Hudson has this commercial for weight watcher where it shows how much weight she has loss. It has gotten me to the point where I want to try losing some weight. The way the celebrities live make you want more in life. I want to make enough money so I can put my boys through college and live comfortable lives were I want have to work all my life. Celebrities influence society in a good and bad way it all depends on how you were raise and were you want to go in life. Like my mother always told her girls “It’s not where you come from in life it were you want to go in life”. In some ways it influences children in a bad way, when they have different movies of artists acting out in a ghetto movie. Some artist plays the dope dealer or the gang banger in a movie. My son love movies like that for some odd reason this type of action gets their attentions. Every time I see him looking at a gangster movie I tell him to turn the TV and put on some cartoon. He…

In the article The Impact Celebrities Have On Our Lives Barbara King states in paragraph six that the reason we watch celebrities is to watch them lose talent and become unwanted in our eyes, and I disagree with the comment that she made, this reminds me of the time my friend wanted my cousin to die out of his baseball talent and fail. Often times, it seems as if my friend and cousin are fighting, my friend and cousin are on the same baseball team and they would always yell rude comments at each other when one struck out, etc. I asked my friend at school why they were so mean to each other, to which he responded that he was angry that my cousin was better than him. However, it turns out that my friend looks up to my cousin and is determined…

Celebrities today make thousands on end for what they do from actors, to musicians, to models , and athletes.I can understand that though because it takes hard work and determination to do so. Some americans however believe they dont deserve all that they get .For me i cant say they make to much or just enough because some celebrities are famous for being famous if you can understand that; for instance they might have a famous family member and they become famous because of that , But for all the celebrities that get it and worked for it they do deserve all that they make .It takes hard work and determination ,you cant be afraid to get up in front of thousands of people and make a fool of youself sometimes, and celebrities must like to bring joy because they bring people up when their down they provide a distractiion from the hard times and might make you even happier when you already happy the affect they have on people not just americans is amazing .…
