Celebrities In Australia Essay
There is no doubt celebrities love partying where there are girls, and where good times are guaranteed, and that place is also known as Nevada. Since 1971, Nevada has been home to legal brothels, excluding Las Vegas and Carson City, but since then, celebrities from all over the world have made their way to several brothels in Nevada to have the time of their lives.

The public may never know how or when these celebrities find their way to these brothels because they make it a priority to keep these events private. This also means these roles have many different expectations in our society, which leads to role conflicts. The former NBA player and reality-star, Lamar Odom was found unconscious on October 13, 2015 in a Nevada brothel. Celebrities come to Nevada to have a great time, relax, and also disappear from the public view. In peoples' opinion, celebrities should be a role model to others, spread positivity, give back to charities, give advice, etc, but on the other hand, celebrities are not some outer world aliens, they are as human as you and I. The culture that exists in American society is the concept that we have to idolize those that shine, therefore, celebrities need time to please themselves not just the people who admire them.

Nevada brothels are mostly based upon females, though according to FOX NEWS, Nevada has hired their first legal male prostitute over at Shady Lady Ranch. The whole idea about hiring a male prostitute is being prejudiced by other brothels

Another example of differing laws versus other states is the Domestic Partnership Responsibilities Act put into effect on October 1, 2009. This act allows for recognition of same-sex domestic unions and for those couples to enjoy the rights and privileges that opposite-sex married couples have.…

Prostitution is legal in Nevada with the exception of Clark County, and Las Vegas is in Clark County. Ignoring the limited sample size and different times of the two studies that they cite, the fact that they look at Las Vegas prostitutes versus the prostitutes in the rest of the state is a false comparison. There would have to be new study that simultaneously examined both groups at the same period of time for it to be considered hard evidence. The second major error that they make is stating the government shouldn’t be able to regulate prostitution because of the constitution. They simply state that because of the constitution the government shouldn’t regulate prostitution without giving details on their reasoning.…

There are three different classes of prostitutes. "There are three strata of prostitutes. Within the top layer rests discrete call-girls for the affluent...The middle layer holds bordello-dwelling prostitutes or others in less subtle environments such as strip clubs and massage parlors that offer backroom services. Streetwalkers (harlots, hookers, nightwalkers, ...) occupy the lowest layer." (...)Prostitutes among the top two classes are in good financial condition. Most of them make more money than women who work the common and more suggested jobs. While the lowest layer prostitutes usually don 't live the best of lives, the same holds true for most career fields where the bottom of the barrel don 't have the same living standards as the top class of their profession. So if so many prostitutes are earning such good income, relatively speaking, why should it be illegal? Why it is legal for companies to pay people to accomplish physical tasks, like in factories, construction, or warehousing among others but yet a prostitute providing service to a client isn 't legal? In addition to the money made by the increase of prostitution due to its legalization, the government can place taxes on the brothels to generate even more revenue. In the grand scheme of things, legalizing prostitution would cause a positive spike in the economic flow of money throughout a specific area. Prostitutes earning their high incomes legally can invest…

The only place in America where prostitution is legal is in the rural counties in the state of Nevada. Located there are places known as brothels where John's can come in and pick any girl they want. Brothels are the most controlled environment and the women that are working there are on contracts that allow them to take a percentage of the revenue they bring in. Prostitution is an industry that has been unregulated and untaxed since its conception. Legalizing prostitution will allow for Uncle Sam to collect taxes that can help go towards roads, schools, and other things that can help the community. According to Michael S. Scott and Kelly Dede, authors of Street Prostitution 2nd Edition, street prostitutes charge on average anywhere from 50 to 100 dollars depending on the act. Street prostitutes see on average between four and six customers a shift and they usually work five to six days a week. That breaks down to an average 100,000 dollar salary, all tax free. This is just small fraction of the estimated $14.6 billion dollar underground prostitution industry in America that goes…
