cell structure
The cell wall is the tough, flexible but sometimes fairly rigid layer that surrounds some types of cells. It is located outside the cell membrane and provides these cells with structural support and protection. Just as the wall of the factory is for the factory. The wall also is the structure and strength.

The cell membrane that separates the interior of all cells from the outside The cell membrane is selectively permeable to ions and organic molecules and controls the movement of substances in and out of cells. The door and the insulation are the cell membrane. The door is selectively permeable to only workers. The insulation also keeps the inside away from the outside.

The nucleus is a membrane-enclosed organelle found in eukaryotic cells. It contains most of the cell's genetic material, organized as multiple long linear DNA molecules in complex with a large variety of proteins. The genes within these chromosomes are the cell's nuclear genome. The function of the nucleus is to maintain the integrity of these genes and to control the activities of the cell — the nucleus is, therefore, the control center of the cell. The office is the control center for a factory. It is also where the important information is kept.

The cytoplasm comprises cytosol, the gel-like substance enclosed within the cell membrane – and the organelles – the cell's internal sub-structures. The air in the factory behaves the same way. It brings vital things like oxygen to the workers.

The endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is an organelle of cells that forms an interconnected network around the cell. Its job is to move proteins around the cell. A conveyor belt acts the same way, carrying around the necessary materials .

The Ribosomes are the protein builders or the protein synthesizers of the cell. They are like construction guys who connect one amino acid at a time and build long chains. The tree making station represents the ribosome because it too makes the necessary

Rough endoplasmic reticulum- Rough endoplasmic reticulum is very important in the synthesis and packaging of proteins. Some of those proteins might be used in the cell and some are sent out. The ribosomes are attached to the membrane of the ER. As the ribosome builds the amino acid chain, the chain is pushed into the ER. When the protein is complete, the rough ER pinches off a vesicle. That vesicle, a small membrane bubble, can move to the cell membrane or the Golgi apparatus.…

Golgi Apparatus- The Golgi Apparatus stacks and packages protein. Once this protein is packaged, vesicles pinch off, which will allow it to be opened to the exterior through exocytosis. It transports the goods created in the Endoplasmic Reticulum and ribosome to the rest of the cell. This is like the postal office because the postal workers package what needs to be mailed, stacks it, and delivers it to whenever it needs to go in the city.…

Mitochondrion (pl. Mitochondria). This is a sausage-shaped organelle (8µm long), and is where aerobic respiration takes place in all eukaryotic cells. Mitochondria are surrounded by a double membrane: the outer membrane is simple, while the inner membrane is highly folded into cristae, which give it a large surface area. The space enclosed by the inner membrane is called the matrix, and contains small circular strands of DNA. The inner membrane is studded with stalked particles, which are the site of ATP synthesis.…
