Central Reservation System
Central reservation system (CRS) is a computerized system to replace the traditional blackboards and status binders used in central reservation offices.
This is a system to store and distribute information of a hotel or any other accommodation business. It mainly establish in a hotel group to manage the sale of room, the price, also the promotion information through connect with other distribution system, such as global distribution systems (GDS). It allows every unit of chain can make reservation in everywhere. Also, the central reservation system is a platform to offer the information. Not only the room type, rate plans structure, room inventories, also the distribution content and reservation detail are included.

CRS assists people find hotel accommodation in a specific area easier and also help the hotel up the available room. It provides more than one property the capability of centralizing reservation processing to the hotel operators. The system allows hotel provide better service, also increase operational and management control and efficiency of the reservations operations.

Hotel operators can market and sell their products around global anytime through a central reservation system. Moreover, the actual booking information will report to hotel in real-time and the guest information will be record. It can help hotel avoid the situation of over booking.
