Around the world there are various amounts of different cultures, traditions, languages, and perspectives about the world. Although everyone cannot be heard by the entire world, there is ways in which citizens become noticed and accepted. Many people express their perspectives through clothing, tattoos, and piercings, making many turn their heads. Some others let their voices be heard through music, signs, sometimes protests also which could turn bad. Back in the 60’s and 70’s, African Americans were strongly discriminated against, there was no way they could ever get others to notice and respect them. They would be banished against riding on buses, use different bathrooms, and not even allowed to attend certain colleges and universities. But finally after many protests and the inspiring dreams of Martin Luther King Jr. African Americans voice was finally heard and segregation laws were passed by the government, changing many citizens’ lives and identity. Since then, the gain of human rights, and globalization, many citizens can now be heard by others, and in the end making a difference in society.…
