INTRODUCTION
Caring for your body by washing your hands, brushing your teeth, combing your hair, trimming your nails, shaving, wearing clean clothing and showering is important for a person 's own health. Grooming describes basic personal hygiene as well as the process that prepares employees for a specific position within a company. The difference is that personal grooming is focused on appearance, while organizational grooming is focused on behavior. Both types of grooming are necessary to succeed in a work environment or on a job interview. Personal and organizational grooming determines what people think of you and may correspond to how well you are respected.

The Egyptians invented glass and perfume bottles.
Fragrance quickly became the European center of perfume. Cultivation of flowers for their perfume essence, which had begun in the 14th century, grew into a major industry in the south of France. Perfume gloves become popular in France in 1656. Louis XV came to the throne in the 18th century. His court was called” The perfume court” due to the scents that were applied daily not only to the skin but also to clothing, fans and furniture. Even today France remains the center of the European perfume design and trade.
Just like clothes and mannerism, perfume also plays an important role in making or marring your impression. There may have been numerous times you must have complimented your friends ' perfume or must have yourself gotten compliments.

By far, the most popular and common motif displayed within perfume advertising is that of a female model. Although it can be argued that there are more perfumes and fragrances for women, amongst most brands, and therefore more adverts for female perfumes in general, the image of woman is exploited in perfume advertising, with female nakedness becoming increasingly more common, significantly more than the image of men. ‘The typical image of the sensuous women enticingly or definitely addressing the viewer continues to be repeatedly employed in contemporary advertising, assuming the form of an ‘agent provocateur’, whose main function in ads is that of eliciting the desired emotional response in the viewer’. With the rapid development of new…

A number of signs are hidden behind the image. The fragrance bottle is placed in one of the most sensitive parts of the woman’s body – between her breasts, where a man’s hand or head would most probably be aimed during a sexual interaction. The perfume is usually applied either on the neck or on the wrist. This brings a conclusion that the bottle of fragrance might be imitating a man’s part of the body. The second two…

Throughout the novel Perfume by Patrick Suskind, there is an obvious use of literary devices used to describe the scents which Grenouille, the protagonist, smells, the way in which Grenouille smells aromas, as this is different to the ‘average’ persons scent capacity, and the relevance of the aroma, as he emphasizes those smells which have an impact in the book through a more vivid and specific explanation. This will be a comparison of two passages for the novel, one from the beginning of Grenouille’s life, and one from the end, in order to obtain a comparison in the description of scents through the novel. Suskind uses devices such as metaphors, italics, and juxtaposition, to name a few, to highlight the smell or aroma which Grenouille witnesses, and apply this to the theme of the novel. However, we can see through a close analysis of two excerpts from the book, one from near the beginning and one from the end, Suskind develops the character of Grenouille through the description of scents throughout the novel as the protagonist matures.…

I really like perfume, I have a good sense of smell and know what smells good and what doesn’t. I’ve been into perfumes and scents since I was a little girl. I always have to smell good, and have the best smelling perfume. When I thought about what im going to do my science fair project on the first thing that came to my mind was perfume. At first I just thought about perfume and not what the experiment would be. So that’s when I decided to use my resources and search online science fair ideas using perfume. I found something that seemed very interesting. I always knew that perfume had to have alcohol in it, but what I cam across kind of shocked me. It was an experiment making perfume without alcohol. Right when I saw that I knew I wanted to do my project on that. I never knew it was possible to make perfume without the use of alcohol. It interested me to find out if I could actually do it. Ive never even came across a perfume without alcohol, nor has anybody that I know. I want to be able to assure myself that this will work. The purpose of me doing this experiment is to find out if it is true and or possible that I can make perfume without alcohol. My hypothesis is that I can make perfume without alcohol.…
