TAG LINES

A tagline is a slogan which succinctly, memorably, and descriptively sums up a company or product.
The art of crafting a tagline is quite complex, and several consulting companies actually specialize in creating taglines for their clients.
A well constructed tagline can endure in the minds of consumers for years; some taglines have actually outlived their products.
Once a company has a tagline, it includes the tagline in all its marketing materials to get the tagline into the minds of consumers so that they think about that company frequently.

ABOUT :-
Everybody Hates Chris is an American sitcom inspired by the teenage experiences of comedian Chris Rock (who is also the narrator), while growing up in the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York (often referred to in the show as Bed-Stuy).
The show is set from 1982 to 1987; however, Rock himself was a teenager during years 1978-1983.
Chris Rock grew up with a boy named Kenny Montero who he has often referred to as the inspiration for a lot of the episodes. In many interviews, Rock has described Kenny as the reason he got into comedy in the first place.
The title of the show parodies the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond. Rock stated "Everybody Loves Raymond but Everybody Hates Chris!". The show's lead actors are Tyler James Williams, Terry Crews, Tichina Arnold, Tequan Richmond, Imani Hakim, and Vincent Martella.

Tagline :-

The Tagline for this show basically lives off another show that was previously named EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND. So this show was just a sort of extention to that tagline and also was very effective in capturing the interest of people.

Bill Bryson gives examples of the many interpretations that are given for different products in his “The Hard Sell: Advertising in America” in the Reading Pop Culture anthology of closed reading. Eastman Kodak was the forerunner of American advertising as far back as 1895. Their first strategy was to appeal to the mass market. Eastman though was that he would rather make a little money from a lot of people instead of a little money from a few people. Eastman even chose the word Kodak because it could not be mispronounced nor was it a word that was attached to anything else. Other companies had slogans that were very memorable, for example: “Good to the last drop” from Maxwell House Coffee and “When it rains it pours” from Morton Salt. These slogans didn’t require much closed definitive reading. Others did not come so easy and some even had to be changed to get the consumer attention. As advertising becomes more and more sophisticated the need for closed reading grows. By the 1920’s, advertising started to promote the things that the consumer knows and doesn’t know. The Gillette…

The trick is creating a brand positioning statement that accurately encompasses your brand within three words (or as close to that as you can get). Think of it this way, consumers don’t have the time, patience, or desire to sift through cluttered messages to get to the meat of the matter. If your brand position isn’t clear, concise, and believable, it will have no chance of snatching a space in consumers’ minds for more than a nanosecond. Your brand positioning strategy has to set the focus and direction of your brand in a way that is instantly meaningful to consumers.…

A brand is the identity of a specific product, service, or business. A brand can take many forms, including a name, sign, symbol, color combination or slogan. Deciding whether to create a jingle versus a slogan for a company’s product or service can become a huge debate. In the end, however, a jingle is the right way to go if they know how to produce a successful one. Jingles have the ability to produce a beneficial outcome for a company. Both the benefits and disadvantages of each will be highlighted in the paper. If a jingle were to be written well, then it would be expected that they are memorable, worth the expense and more effective than slogans. The null hypothesis would then be even if a jingle is written well, they would still not be as memorable or worth the expense as any other form of advertisement may be, for instance,…

In Singapore where the world of sales and marketing is presented with the option of words or swords, the competitive nature of firms and businesses would preside over the latter to meet their quota. While this forceful nature of wielding the sword to make aggressive sales is effective, the long run effect of such would result in poor health and to extreme extent, depression due to rejection. While most firms realize the importance of good marketing strategies, some are still not leveraging to the fullest extent on the power of words. They still reside over the use of hard sales blindly. Even though they know of how consumer behave, if only they could harness the power of words sales stimulating ones not only could one retreat from hard sales and watch consumers knock on the firms door continuously, rate of clinching a project would rise rather easily too. Among the many ways a consumer will form their perception of a product or a company is through the magic of words. While graphic images of a product or the featuring of a Hollywood ambassador would immediately strike a major chord with the audience, a picture of a thousand words cannot be more effective than a picture with meaningful words. This would explain the burgeoning accompaniment of a tag phrase beside the companys logo or name to make things memorable. Nokia Connecting People. McDonalds Im lovin it. A picture of an ill formed decayed teeth on the packet of cigarettes Smoking Kills People of todays society are better educated and forcefully compelling them to choose your product cannot work effectively. Threatening them and force feeding them with the wave of your sword would only resist them from selecting your company as their choice of preference. Instead, people being more savvy with the world would really rather receive information in a less menacing manner. In this case, words, the right phrases to use and a well-formed sentence will eloquently do the trick. Consumers need motivation and…
