Character Analysis: Lars And The Real Girl

One who has ever had an imaginary friend or a stuffed animal that they talked to or loved dearly can understand the realness and attachment to it. In the movie Lars and the Real Girl, the main character Lars has an attachment to a human sized doll named Bianca. Although, this was not normal due to the fact that he was a grown man. In the film, there were a few different mental disorders that Lars showed signs of, and he had to overcome his tendencies to be cured. Overall, to Lars truly believed that Bianca was real.
