Character Analysis Of Laurel In Hgam
Laurel is also a main character in HGAM. Laurel is portrayed as a beautiful Mexican American woman who has a white skin, a long brown hair, and pretty grey eyes. She is a quiet and passive woman but she tries to gives her best for Annalise. Laurel is also curious to find the reason why Annalise hires her. Picture 17 that was taken by using medium shot shows a conversation between Laurel and Bonnie. Laurel is asking Bonnie why Annalise chooses her because another Keating’s five have the reason. She thinks that she is there because of Frank. Laurel and Frank have a special yet hidden relationship.
Picture 18 that was taken by using medium long shot shows that Laurel is annoyed because Michaela interrupt her when she wants to answer Annalise question. Laurel is trying to do what Bonnie says to her. Bonnie advises Laurel to use her time to make Annalise learn her name. Then, she tries to be more active by initiating a help for Annalise when Annalise needs help. Laurel also tries to be more focus in solving a case. Her efforts are pay off when she can find a clue on St. Vincent’s murder case. It is explained in a conversation that was taken from HGAM episode 2 minute 00:27:36 to 00:28:25.

    The first man she murdered was Richard Mallory who she claimed raped her. Since he had a record of raping females, Aileen stated she murdered him in self-defense in 1989. Roughly six months later, police found the body of David Spears who had multiple gun wounds. Soon after finding the body of David Spears, police found yet another body, which was decomposed but later, identified as Charles Carskaddon.
