The definition of love is a deep affection for someone or something. In the Shakespeare's play the three pairs of lovers encounter issues where Oberon instructs Puck to sprinkle "love juice" on an Athenian man's eyes. However, he did it to the wrong man, and the other lovers started turning on their loved ones and showing love and affection for another; in Titania's case it was an ass. While reclining with Titania, Bottom states the quote," reason and love keep little company nowadays". In the book, A Bolt of White Cloth, love is referred to in many different forms. Love is like a road, endless. Much like a road, love has a plethora of pathways and an abundance of obstacles. A road has many signals such as traffic lights, telling you when to go and when to stop. Although less obvious, love has those same signals. Knowing when to pull a U-turn “leaving by the same route he had come” (page 60) may be the hardest aspect of any type of relationship.“As he took the dips and rises in the road” (page 60) Although there are lows that come along with love, there are also highs. The lows lead to highs and help create the magic of love. In order to truly appreciate the spectacular moments that come along with love, one must experience…

I am a Tundra Wolf. The Tundra wolf has good instincts in the wild which I possess in many different situations I encounter. For example, I do have a gut feeling whether if the person is to be trusted or not. Also when I encounter hard decisions, I always go with my gut feeling and never look back because I know my instinct will always lead me in the right direction. Also, the Tundra Wolf’s coat can be a majestic black color that also relates to my thick black hair. My hair is a deep brown that looks black in certain light and is thick like the Tundra’s undercoat. In addition, I am a cautious person when it comes to meeting new people because I never trust anyone at first sight. Similarly, the Tundra wolf…

The pardoner, in Geoffrey Chaucer’s “The Pardoner’s Tale,” is a devious character. He is a man with a great knowledge of the Catholic Church and a great love of God. However, despite the fact that he is someone whom is looked at with respect at the time, the pardoner is nothing more than an imposter who makes his living by fooling people into thinking he forgives their sins, and in exchange for pardons, he takes their money. His sermon-like stories and false relics fool the people of the towns he visits and make him seem as a plausible man, which is exactly what the pardoner wants. In fact, the pardoner is an avaricious and deceitful character whose driving force in life is his motto, “Radix malorum est cupiditas,” which is Latin for “greed is the root of evil.” The pardoner’s entire practice is based upon his motto and is motivated entirely by greed.…

    Types Of Love And Spying

Then Terri said “He beat me up one night (170).” This form of love would be stated as Eros love. Eros love, in my opinion is the deepest form of love because it is an emotion and physical way of showing love. In the short story, What We talk about when we talk about love, Raymond carver shows this type of love in various ways. This form of loves also ties into any type of love that a spy believes they are showing. One occasion of a spy showing love like Terri and her ex-husband was the showing of James Bond in the film Goldeneye. In particular is the scene of Bond and Xenia. Bond is relaxing in a spa type of area and Xenia comes into the same room as him showing him a lot of sexual attention. Xenia is also a spy and in this scene she is doing this to obtain important information from him. They both kiss and fight until Bonds stops all of the nonsense. This scene validates the fact that a spy cannot be trusted or capable of love. Xenia went in the room for one reason which wasn’t to have a good time with Bond. Again this showed the form of Eros love, but it showed that a spy cannot love this deeply. It showed that a spy cannot care for someone as deeply as they care for their work. Another example from What We talk about when we talk about love is the relationship between the young couple. This young couple, Laura and Nick, were full of love because they just started…
