Character Analysis: The Walker By Alice Walker
The Walker
• In the book, there is a character who is mentioned by the name "The Walker'. The Walker is based on a real person who did walk between the twin towers whose name is Philippe Petit.
• In the story, he strangely won't confess to the death of Corrigan who is one of the main characters in the book. Throughout the book, his real name is not mentioned.
• He grabs the attention of many people when he started to walk the tightrope

Corrigan
• Corrigan is one of the main characters in the book
• He is one of the characters in the novel who die early in the story
• He died in a tragic car accident

• Corrigan loses control of the van and end in a fatal car crash
• Both Jazzlyn and Corrigan are killed in the tragic accident
• Tillie is fighting for the custody of her daughter but ends up losing and goes to jail

Book one: Miro, Miro, on the wall
• Claire and Solom live in an nearby apartment in Park Avenue
• Claire and Gloria join a group of women who’s sons have also died in the Vietnam war

Book One: A fear of Love
• Lara and Blaine are trying to get rid of their past which was only filled with drugs and alcohol
• Lara and Blaine keep denying the fact that the car crash was not their fault when it was obviously them being drunk and crashing into Corrigan and Jazzlyn resulting in their deaths
• Blaine doesn’t learn the fact that drugs are bad for him and doing him harm but he still turns to drugs

Book One: Let the Great world Spin forever down
