Walter is a fifty year old husband and father to his pregnant wife Skyler (Anna Gunn) and to his teenage son. At this age he finds out he is diagnosed with lung cancer and doesn't have a long time to live and wants to make sure his family will not have to worry about money shortly after his departure. After attending a ride along with cops and the bust of a meth lab Walter finds himself at a crossroads when he decides to form a partnership with his former student Jesse Pinkman(Aaron Paul) who is a local meth cook. When the beginning of cooking meth does not go as smoothly as Walter thought the big question that comes up is what will Walter White do? The scenery really has a lot to do with the show. The show mainly takes place in the downtown area. Albuquerque is not a little trash town and thanks to the show it shows the beauty of the city. Now a tour is even given to people who want to see the sites the show was filmed. The only problem with this is that people outside Albuquerque now think New Mexico is the main place with the Meth industry like Colorado and Marijuana. Despite the stereotypes Crystal Meth actually saved Albuquerque. The tourism has gone up which is a plus for businesses. For Albuquerque to be the forgotten city or believed to still be a part of Mexico and to become which is now the thirty second largest city in the United States. It really all depends if people are willing to distinguish the difference between fiction and reality.
Breaking Bad is a show that created a lot of mayhem, but in a good way despite of what other may say. It brought Albuquerque to life now that people know about it. Breaking Bad is such a good show, it’s like waking up on Christmas with too many presents and all for you. Vince Gilligan really makes a person believe to go into the Meth selling business just to make money for the right reasons. This show is really worth watching and not because there is drugs involved but because it is really amazing with dialogue, scenery and it all fits together like a
