Character Of The Cyclopes In Homer's Odyssey

My character is The Cyclopes. Cyclopes are monsters and they are most known for their gigantic size, their strength, their single eye in the middle of their forehead, and that they eat humans. Only three cyclopes of Greek mythology were mentioned who possessed powers. The first one was Arges who controlled and possessed the power of thunderbolts, then there was Steropes who possessed lightning, and Brontes who possessed thunder. The story of the Cyclopes and Odysseus starts right after the battle of Troy. Odysseus was sailing towards home with his men and ships, and on their way, they came to an island. Unknowingly to them, the island was inhabited by the Cyclops people. When Odysseus and his men arrived at the island they took shelter in a cave. After a time, a Cyclops whose name was Polyphemus, one of the most famous cyclopes,
When Polyphemus awoke and led the sheep out of the cave, he felt the back of each sheep to make sure no one was on them. Feeling nothing, Polyphemus allowed each sheep to pass out of the cave, carrying with it one of Odysseus’ crew tied to its belly. Overall, Odysseus tricked one of the most famous cyclopes. The cyclopes were not apart of the Trojan war that can before the Odyssey. Cyclopes have many fictional characters like that its gigantic size is bigger than most buildings also that it only has one eye help us understand greek culture because likewise greek mythology it’s fictional and Greek mythology is a huge part of Greek culture. Cyclopes are considered villains because They led a lawless life, possessing neither social manners nor fear for the gods, and they ate humans. Cyclopes are an important character of Greek mythology because they played a big part of fighting in wars, they were good smiths, and that they worked for Zeus who is a major Greek god.
