Characteristics Of Atticus In To Kill A Mockingbird
Ever wondered what Atticus was actually like? Atticus Finch is the father of the main character Jean Louise “Scout” Finch and Jeremy Atticus “Jem” Finch in the book To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. Atticus is a very honest character who teaches Scout, Jem, and Dill a lot of lessons about life and one of them is who people think that Blacks are lesser people, which is not true at all. Throughout To Kill A Mockingbird Atticus is courageous, wise, and accepting. Throughout TKAM, Atticus is very courageous. There are three specific times where Atticus is courageous. One of the times is when the mob of the racist men from the town comes to the jail to kill Tom Robinson. Even though the mob has weapons and he is disarmed, Atticus stays put

    Many of his actions throughout the novel show him to be brave and courageous, since courage is the main theme. He demonstrates this by the way he treats characters throughout the book.
