The findings of the study of Rivera III, & Pusta (2017), revealed that millennial generation is not defined simply by their age but rather they are driven and molded by their desire for curiosity or knowledge from being engaged in advertising. Millennials are no longer fascinated by generic brand advertising; they prefer a story that talks and symbolizes social values which then intrinsically motivates them to gain deeper value as subscribers. With the Millennial taking the lead of the country’s population, its’ goal is to identify the consumer behavioral pattern and rewards system as motivation on credit card usage of the millennials in the Philippines, (De Jesus & Pusta, 2017). In general, millennials possess different but unique characteristics compare to past generations. Different characteristics are being identified and how they are different from the other generations. The literature also shows how millennials value their work on various aspect of work and work related outcomes. The identified millennial characteristics will support on how to appraise their characteristics in terms of personal and professional level. It is really challenging when millennials enter and dominate our workforce. And that Filipino Millennials have the same characteristics as generational cohort. Most of the study rank on the top is the extrinsic/instrumental which pertains to material values, followed by cognitive/intrinsic refers to working satisfaction and the 3rd is the social/altruistic values meaning the interpersonal relationship and lastly is the prestige. This is contrary on local studies that most Filipino millennials prioritized the social/altruistics work values showing that they value most about helping others and social interactions.     Baby boomers know that they need to be flexible, adaptable to new environment and work as a team. Millennials are eager to learn and develop, and are flexible to change, therefore it is every one’s responsibility in the organization to work with millennials to teach them these essentials. The young generation entering the DLA’s workforce are talented individuals, they bring with them perception of what office life should be and what relations between what employers and employees should be like.
