He did play games with rules. He showed this when kicking the ball. He would kick it first, then his brother. They took turns in kicking the ball in the yard.
Alonte’ shows Erikson’s stage of Autonomy vs. Shame/doubt in the observation for the social/emotional development. He played outside and explored different areas on his own independently. He did ask his grandmother for assistance on a few things, but still did it on his owe.
Physical Development
Alonte’ was able to fill a watering can without problems. This shows great fine motor skills. He was able to hold onto the rope of the swings when swinging himself. He was also able to hold on to the bars on the swing set without any assistance. Alonte’ seems to use both hands when doing fine motor skills on the playground. He shows great muscle control and balance.
Alonte’ was able to run heal to toe on the outside playground area. He was able to use alternate feet when walking, running, and walking up the stairs to the house and slide. When going down the slide, he was able to switch position from standing to sitting without trouble. He was able to show great balance and control of body when kicking the ball in the yard.
Social/Emotional
