Long time ago people would meet they significant other in high school, and they would fall in love and stay together. They are many ways people meet, some goes to bars, nightclub, church, work, and online sites. Meeting people face to face can be over whelming for some. When meeting someone in person or online you always have that initial uncomfortable moment. Not knowing what kind of person that you’re going to meet, they could be different from what they perceive. Meeting someone online I thought was not an option for me, but my friend thought it would be a good way to start backdating. I was going through an awful break up and was looking for someone to talk to; my friend referred me to an online dating website called Tagged. A couple of people requested me instantly the first one that really stuck out to me was a normal name, Trevor Bell. I agree with the author’s stance on this issue. The internet is a resource that this generation is lucky enough to have instant access to. It should be uses as a tool and a resource especially when it comes to meeting people and dating. It should not be a person’s only option and it should not be considered only as a last resort. A mix of both online relationships and relationships in real life are essential in this day and age. There are so many unique…

When all traditional options fail, online dating makes sense for a number of reasons. Primarily, the convenience and accessibility is a huge benefit. For those who don’t have an abundance of free time, online sites allow singles to filter through many more prospective partners than relying on traditional means. Secondly, it gives the online single an opportunity to have some sort of control over the process rather than trusting the decision of their friends who are setting them up, or worse, their instincts from first impressions. Lastly, it allows the single to build a rapport before dating someone thus reducing the awkwardness of a first date (Who actually likes first dates?).…

Nonetheless, I don’t consider the online dating strategy to be an effective or good idea in the first place because there are too many problems and negative effects that can come from it more so than positive ones. I think people should be very careful. Meeting strangers face to face in social situations is good so long as you size them up, look at their body language and how they interact with others. See their friends as this will tell you a lot about them. Before considering them a romantic possibility it is better to get to know them first as friends and find out what they are really…

Online dating, according to a new survey by psychologists at the University of Rochester in the US, is the second most common way of starting a relationship. Sure you can say it’s one of the best ways to find love online, because it offers you the dream of finding that prince charming you dreamed of. You can easily choose which ones of the possible prospects you like. And dispose of the ones you find unattractive. This online dating site makes it easier for you, because you can surf the web at any time, go through your online dating site and start a nice conversation with one of your prospects. A benefit is that it gives you access to more people that you would usually meet. But this also tells us that we have little time to actually search for love physically. This just makes the opportunities of finding love on our own, full with adventures, none. Online dating takes the magic of experiencing something together in the real world. I’m not saying that isn’t truth that you can find someone you enjoy talking to and spend a great time together. But through online dating you can’t really see how the other person reacts to the outside world.…
