CHEATING IN SCHOOLS
'Student cheating in school is the immoral way adopted to achieve a successful goal'. In everyone’s life all of us feel the temptation to cheat at some point during our daily activities, and sometimes we even do. Cheating can be found in all age group and it very important for us to look in to teenagers in our educational society. When the educational system was introduced, we can remember that cheating was rare in our schools, students are willing to work hard in other to earn their grades. But if we look in our today’s schooling system including the technological devices in our student’s disposal, we can conclude that the whole importance of learning aspect has been eliminated. Every student in our schools today are focused on making top grades and they are willing to do anything in other to achieve this purpose. All student in school need to realize that cheating is bad and should be avoided at all cost.
It is very important that every student know the primary reason why they’re in school. School exist so that students can be educated, not that students can cheat their way into success. The most shocking discovery is that most students today don’t see anything wrong in cheating, and this is because they have been engaging in this act for a very long time. This is a very important and serious issue in which I think the Ministry of Education need to take drastic measures to students whenever they’re been caught cheating in classroom during examinations.
Students need to realize that cheating is of no benefit because, when they cheat their way through high school and college they will end up not been able to keep a job. Every student need to understand that earning a certificate only makes you eligible to apply for certain job position, but that same certificate will not keep your job for you. At the end of the day your whole years spent schooling will be wasted.
If young students believe cheating is normal, who knows what mentality they will have when they grow up to be adults. Most student think that cheating on one little test or quiz doesn’t mean that you will cheat again, but unfortunately this is not true because you will be tempted again with the motive that you will not be caught. So therefore with this mindset you will want to do that over and over again resulting you to be lazy and less focused in your studies.
I am not saying that anyone who has ever cheated is a crook, because that would mean just about every student at our average school would be one, including me. What I am saying is that cheating should be more frowned upon and kids should receive harsher penalties. This is not something you want to hear, but I truly believe that if there were consequences for cheating, students would actually focus on learning. Then we all would be better educated.

Students have lost confidence in themselves and are now being walked over by others. I hear common stories from my classmates about how someone cheated off of their homework or test, but they don’t want to say anything to the teachers. They have allowed themselves to assume the role of the pushover. The cheaters in this situation are sometimes talked into it by their friends. They are told the only way to pass a teachers class is to cheat, or that “it’s only homework,” or the classic, “a class that cheats together, passes together.” By encouraging my friends to always reject those trying to use them for answers, there has been a decrease in cheating in our classes. If students across the country were the ones to go out and preach not cheating, our society would be much better off. Instead of saying, “a class that cheats together, passes together,” students should be saying, “a class that stays together, goes to the unemployment office together.” The habit of cheating and following the crowd in school will follow students into their future endeavors. Students have failed to make the connection between their actions now and their lives down the line. Though they may get a passing grade now, students are depriving themselves of knowledge the will need to be successful in the long run. For these reasons, it is necessary to encourage students to speak out against cheating. Doing so would…

Though cheating in high school may seem insignificant to most high school students, it is important to make students aware that cheating will not be able to help them get everywhere they want. At some point, students in our school will have to go to college or maybe even a graduate school after that. Though there is little doubt that there will still be ways to cheat, the consequences will be much greater; years of tuition down the drain, the possibility of criminal charges, and blemished record forever. By instituting more concrete disciplinary action for cheating now, students will be deterred from cheating in high school and hopefully later in life. By extending those punishments to not only the students who cheat but those who give answers and aid in cheating, students can be more involved in preventing cheating. Students would most likely not put their grades on the line just to give someone else an advantage over them and by teaching students that cheaters are taking advantage of them, school leaders can create an environment that deters cheaters from engaging in immoral and ultimately disadvantageous behavior, and that promotes thoughtful, moral…

Cheating used to be considered an unmentionable sin. However, in this day and age, it has become more common and somewhat of a daily occurrence. Cheating is more widespread today than in the past. According to the article titled Education: The New Morality, cheating has not been an issue of values, but simply one of practicality. This shows that many view cheating as a mere occurrence and something that can often be skipped over. The reason cheating has become such a pervasive movement is because many students tend to rationalize their cheating behavior. A common rationalization that many students use is, " That 's the only way I 'll get anywhere in life." Many students also tend to incorporate reasons, such as parental pressures, the aim to be the best, and the lack of time, with their dishonest behavior.…

However, some people may question if certain types of cheating are okay and not dishonest and others dishonest. For example, some people may think copying a homework assignment is not a big deal and dishonest while other people think that cheating on exams is dishonest. In addition, some people may resort to cheating when they are not too aware of the material they are trying to learn when it comes to being tested and others do it for the good grade, not because they don’t know it. In our societies today we always face the stress of being better. I believe academic cheating is a response to that stress. Ideally, the study environment should be designed according to the student’s individual capabilities and strengths.
