Let’s begin with the smaller branch supporting the five user workstations and the very slow network connectivity. You may not need a DNS server at all. If there is a lot of file & data sharing, then maybe the branch could benefit from a server, but configured in a secondary zone, such as an ADI. If there is not enough file/data sharing to need the presence of the server, an ADI server could potentially slow down an already sluggish system even more.…

After researching, I found two studies that are similar to my experiment. One study by Sean Boyd (2007) tested to see which brand of microwave popcorn yielded the least amount of un-popped kernels. Mr. Boyd tested five brands of butter flavored microwave popcorn: Aldi, Act II, Orville Redenbacher, Jolley Time and Pop-Secret. His experiment proved his hypothesis partially wrong. Mr. Boyd hypothesized that Orville Redenbacher would be the best and Aldi's would be the worst. His experiment proved that Act II produced the least amount of un-popped kernels while Aldi's did have the most un-popped kernels on average.…

I have chosen one of my tasks I performed in my portfolio because I believe that it is very important. The task I do is to file folders, get folders for the next day, and look at what’s written for my future benefit. The reason why it’s important to do this is because it’s all the clients information stored in. If I misplaced it or lose it, the dentist or hygienists won’t recall what they did to the patient last time they had visited. Not only that my supervisor would get anger at me, the client would as well, and that client would possibly won’t come back to the place. It’s a station nobody wants to deal with. That’s why I’m including this task because filing is very cruel shall and critical. Taking out the files are easier to do, but I have to take out the files of each clients for each hygienist and dentist. It would be easy on them because they would be stress free and won't panic when they can’t find a folder. It’s an important job in my opinion.…

There are several ways in which to organize a counseling center for victims of domestic abuse. Organization by departmentalization is a model in which the agency is broken into subgroups or departments according to process, market, program, or client and consumer needs. The most effective organization by departmentalization would be to break up the departments according to program. Victims of domestic abuse may need different programs in order to get their lives back on track. Some may be in need of counseling while others need help finding a new place to live or need help with job placement. The downside to organizing a counseling center, by program is that the counseling center may offer only a handful of services and would need to refer clients to outside organizations. If the agency did offer other programs, the victim may feel that they are overwhelmed with their options and may go back to their previous situation.…

For this assignment I chose two of the most popular weekly news programs. The first was “Meet the Press” from my local NBC affiliate out of Chicago on March 2nd Sunday morning. It was hosted by Chuck Todd and aired at 10am. The second was from my local Fox channel also based in Chicago and was “Fox News Sunday”. It was hosted by Chris Wallace and aired at 9am on March 2nd Sunday morning. I chose these two shows due to the fact they aired at approximately the same time, on the same day, and therefore were in direct competition. Additionally Fox news is generally regarded to be a conservative based network, while NBC and their affiliates are generally considered to be influenced by liberal ideas.…
