I Problem: Identifying the products of chemical change.
II Hypothesis: I think that the chemical change is an irreversible process. The wet iron filings by the next day it will turn into rusting material because it is exposed to the atmosphere. While the dry iron filings is not
III Materials:
The setup in the previous activity, small plate, dry iron filings.
IV Procedure:
1. Place the iron filings on a dry plate.
2. Compare the physical properties of the dry and wet iron filings.
3. Take note of the differences in their physical properties if any.
4. Enter your observations in a table like this.

VI. Analysis:
1) Did the dry and wet iron filings show the same physical properties?
Ans. No, the dry and wet iron filings didn’t show the same physical properties.
2) How do the wet iron filings differ from the dry iron filings?
Ans. The wet iron filings differ from the dry iron filings because the wet iron filings is rusted and it is a chemical process when iron is exposed to the atmosphere, while the dry iron filings differ from the wet iron filings cause it is not rusted and not exposed to the atmosphere.
3) Did the wet iron filings change? What brought this change? Ans.Yes, water brought.
4) What do you call this change? How does it differ from a physical change?
Ans. Chemical Change, it differ from a physical change because the rusted iron cannot be back into its original form.
5) Compare the original material and the product formed .
Ans. The original material is not rusted because it is not putted in water while the product formed is rusted cause it is putted in water.
6) Is the product formed a new material? Give your reasons.
Ans. Yes, I noticed smooth material became a rough material because of rust.
