Compare and contrast at least two Native American stories about the creation of the world or Identify the tribes that the stories come from. The Apache Indians lived throughout Arizona, New Mexico, and Arizona. Their family’s played an important role in the lives of their young ones. Most families as well as extended families lived together and functioned democratically among themselves. As the new frontiersman arrived in the new world the Apache had to evolve as the colonist changed their lives. They began utilizing horses and guns which were both introduced by the new settlers. Most of the Cherokee lived Eastern half of the North America, they were the first of the Native American Tribes to come in contact with the new colonist. War began when Andrew Jackson ignored the treaty President Washington had signed and waged war on the Cherokee. The US Government began displacing Cherokee to the west of the Mississippi River. On 1832 the US Supreme Court founded the Cherokee as a nation. But Andrew Jackson ignored the ruling to concentration camps which eventually began to be known as “The Trail of Tears”.
Discuss their history and the region that they come from. The Apache were one of the Native Tribes that came from Alaskan Region, Canada and parts of the American Southwest. Apaches nomadic traits did not settle in one place which eventually ended in Southern parts of the North America. About thirteen Apache Tribes remain in North America, which they spread around Arizona, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.
The Cherokee resided from parts of Georgia, North and South Caroline, Virginia, Kentucky, and Tennessee. They were among five of the major tribes from the southeast of North America. Being colonized by the Great Britain, they adopted many of their culture traits. But they are mostly remembered by “The Trail of Tears. Human beings being the dominant mammal on earth will try to take advantage of that. Just what happen to the Great Buffalo in North America, it was brought down to the brink of extinction. Between groups of human beings? Like any typical alpha male, there must be tension among who will have control among people or property. Men and women? Men will and has always been placed as the dominant of the two mammals and to this date, we still have these tendencies among people in different countries. Different generations? As the new generations come along their change of views change. So we will always have change among people some good and some bad.
Roles and responsibilities within the community? The roles and responsibilities among communities will change from negative to positive depending the person. But as a community, we must strive to work for the best in ourselves and our new generations. As they will be the leaders of the future.
