Heinla if there was anything about mental health that people might contradict or simply not know about. She responded with explaining what a illness called Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is. Chronic fatigue syndrome is a complex disorder that is caused by extreme tiredness and excess exhaustion as well as over active nerves. It can cause mental and physical activity to worsen over time. She began to explain that this illness is often contradicted to be either be caused by a physical or mental connection. Although she has not studied it very deeply professionally, people she knows with chronic fatigue all have major mental stressors. Heinla mentions a technique called cognitive behavioral. She uses this on several kids whos have a major, significant fear of completing simple everyday tasks such as going to the supermarket or going to school. This technique helps the person reframe or rethink about all of their fears before they conquer them. Most people develop such fears by a traumatizing event that occured in public that might prevent them from wanting to go out again. Heinla said she even has had a client that has actually stopped eating and developed a eating disorder because of how embarrassed she was.
