To answer your question, I have been to a Chinatown in Chicago a few years ago. I do not feel that everything I saw is how China is resembled on television. The Chinatown that I had gone to was only about a block of nothing but Chinese stores and Chinese workers. There are a few things that I feel would be found in China, such as skinned ducks hanging in restaurant store windows and a lot of signs written in Chinese.
