His stand-up comedy examines race and ethnic relations, including Mexican American culture. He was the host of the late-night talk show Lopez Tonight on TBS until its cancellation on August 12, 2011. One of his comedy shows is called Latin Kings which shows Mexicans are hater and not happy for people. They use alcohol/drugs and always lose their jobs. Latinos grow up in fear because of the example of where not going to wait for you. Not wanting to talk to someone you see from afar. In the George Lopez Show he has the power. In George Lopez why you crying he talks about fast food restaurants have working Latinos and how when they take an order the customers cannot understand.
Cheech and Chong: Are a Grammy Award-winning comedy duo consisting of Richard "Cheech" Marin and Tommy Chong who found a wide audience in the 1970s and 1980s for their films and stand-up routines, which were based on the hippie and free love era, and especially drug and counterculture movements, most notably their love for cannabis. Their early success culminated with the release of their first feature-length movie, Up in Smoke, in 1978. Relatively successful, it became something of a cult classic and was successful enough to warrant a sequel, Cheech & Chong's Next Movie, in 1980, and Nice Dreams in 1981. These were followed by Things Are Tough All Over (1982) and Still Smokin' (1983). The pair attempted to shy away from stoner comedy with 1984's Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers but the film was universally panned by critics and fans alike. Tommy Chong directed four of their films, while co-writing and starring in all seven with Cheech Marin. Cheech Marin is a 3rd generation Mexican American, director, writer, musician, and art collector. 9 comedy albums from 1972-1985, nominated for 4 Grammys and won 1 for “Los Cochinos”

Kitty and Red), it is no longer acceptable. In addition, with “the Circle” the creators of the show showcase how harmless marijuana can be among young people because all they are doing is sitting and listening to each other in a basement, a seemingly tame occurrence. However, once again we see the theme that drug use is not attractive in adults when the character Leo is introduced into the show. Tommy Chong, a notorious stoner and part of the comedic super duo Cheech and Chong, plays Leo. Leo plays a burnout who barely remembers where he is or what he is doing. He smokes with the teenagers and throughout his place of work, which portrays him as being irresponsible and a stereotypical…

A few months ago, my dad started using ancestry.com to further his genealogical knowledge. Initially, I did not think that it would lead him anywhere, seeing as he knows nothing about his family; but sure enough, he found a plethora of information. He found information about his mother’s side and information about his father’s, including the biography of Quanah Parker, the last chief of the free Comanche people. When my dad started telling me the story of Quanah Parker, I suddenly got very interested in my Native American background. How often does someone come across such a puzzling and unusual aspect of his/her background? I always thought that I was just half-Korean and half-White, but learning that I am also Native American really got my gears turning as far as learning more about my ancestral background.…
