Do you believe child abuse is a valid reason why children obey their parents more? Some parents believe that hitting their child makes them more powerful and that the child will be scared of them. The youth in todays day and age are pressured by their parents to follow strict orders and if disobeyed are reprimanded for it. If people were more informed about child abuse, perhaps they would realize that hitting or neglecting a child is not only going to take a toll on them for the rest of their lives, but they might abuse their own children when they 're older due to psychological reasons from when they were beat by their parents. Most parents who beat their children were beaten by their parents when they were children. Often, babies or children that are adopted are abused because they are not
