Anyone over the age of 16 who has killed someone in war, does not deserve amnesty, but those who have not killed anyone in any age deserve amnesty. It is different for those kids who are under that age, They are abducted, abducted from their own homes at night, abducted right out of school, soldiers would surround the school go in and kill or hurt the teacher and take kids. They also will also go telling kids they will go on an adventure and end up in a war. A 13 year old girl said “At the age of 13 I joined the student movement, I had a dream to be able to contribute many things so children would not be hungry, When i arrived i found out that girls were obliged to have several sexual relations and they abused me, they trampled my human dignity and above all they did not understand i was a child and had rights.” With that quote it says when kids are not abducted but when they join a “group” for the good they get something out of the unexpected.
In some countries they use something called “Brown Brown” which is a mixture of gunpowder and cocaine they would be slit into their wrist or into the temple in their head. A boy described it like “Gunpowder gives you more energy like with the desire to kill the troops that are passing in front of you, you say to yourself i hope they come my way and you load op and you shoot off and you feel more capable with better

In some countries, every young person must serve two years of military service. The general public in the United States feels that we should allow that in our country while other people disagree. A two-year period of military service should be mandatory for all young adults, but making the devotion to serving that time in the military should be each individual’s decision. Personally, young adults should be able to live their lives of how they want it, and other mature people should be able to volunteer for the military. Each individual should be able to make their own choices in life and not be forced to do something they strongly disagree with. Granting opportunities to young and mature people will help the military enlist a mature recruit, strengthen the military clan, and attract even more people to join in the military. We should be able to grant choices to the young and mature adults and respect their decision.…

You sit in a trench and wait for your orders to come. You look left and right to see your comrades sitting with you, but they aren’t grown men and women, they are children. Your mind is unsteady and lightheaded from the drugs you were given. When you look out of the trench you see children only eight years of age marching into a village and burning everything down to a smoldering ash. Some children do it for protection others doing it for their religion. Hundreds of lives were taken when the village burned down, and it was all at the hands of children. Child soldiers have been in existence for years. People believe that child soldiers should be punished for their crimes and put into jail, but why? Why would you put a little one in jail when they were told what they were doing was right? These minors have not been given the proper chance to live a life to the fullest of their potential.…

While it may be very true that most average children know their actions, what if those children were not in a ‘normal’ state of mind? Child soldiers were drugged, beat, threatened, and tricked into feeling and thinking nothing except kill, kill, kill. Not only that with all this is emotional and physical abuse, if a child is emotionally and physically abused they tend not to feel anymore, and if they cause a crime then it shouldn’t be their fault, it should be the people who turned them into that, the people who manipulated them with drugs and violence into thinking that's okay. If the UN can give amnesty to the children who have been deprived of their childhood, and jail the people who caused it. That will show the commander what happens to children who they force to fight what…

An argument used to back this proposal was the saying, “Old enough to fight, old enough to vote.”3 A significant chunk of the U.S. population thought that if 18 year old adults were old enough to join military in combat, they should be allowed to vote. “It was not fair, people said, for young men who were giving their lives for the country not be able to vote for the leaders of that country.” Basically, if 18 year old boys were old enough to fight for their country, they would enough to make choices in the country’s future. In addition, more than fifty thousand people died trying to prevent communism from North Vietnam—the Vietnam War.…
