It is very important to keep in mind that every child and young person is unique. By looking at the holistic development of children and young people, we can view the whole person-physically, emocionally, intellectually.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

1 year Physical :
The Baby can control his torso and hands, sit without support.
The crawl and has growing control of legs and feet. He may stand or creep across the floor.
Intellectual:
The child understand the names of objects.
Can fallow simple instructions.
Can talks to him or herself while playing.
Communication and Language:
The child begins to talk with words or sign language.
The child echoes the last parts of what others say .
Can count steps,(one ,two, one, two), can say I come , come with me….
Emotional and Social: The child enjoys walk being able to walk, and is eager to try to get dressed Me do it!
Physical: The child walks alone.
Intellectual: Understand when walk can change place, room, etc.
Communication and Language: Can count steps,(one ,two, one, two), can say I come , come with me….

Intellectual: Learn about colours and shapes.
Communication and Language: Naming colours and talking about painting.
