A lots of unhealthy additives are contain in junk food in order to make these foods taste good and look better. To enhance flavour and make sure they attract children and to increase shelf life, chemicals additives are added into foods. Many junk foods are common with synthetic flavour enhancers and also they contained high fat, salt or sugar (Smith 2005). Foods like biscuits, cookies, chips, confectionery, hamburgers, instant noodles and soft drink are categorises as low nutritional value foods (Health Foundation 2005). Those unhealthy additive would damage children's health in a direct way as they are not suitable to be contained in foods.
