Children Involved In Gun Accidents

Gun Safety One part of gun safety is teaching kids how to use use properly. This year approximately 43 kids under the age of four have been involved in a gun accident. That is almost one child a week. This week a 2-year-old in South Carolina found a gun in the back seat of the car he was riding in and accidentally shot his grandmother, who was sitting in the passenger seat (Ingraham n.p.). This is one of many reasons children are involved in gun accidents. Adults leave guns out where kids are able to reach them and they shoot someone or themselves.
