What's covered?
To achieve the full Level 2 qualification there are 13 mandatory units
( 31 credits)
• SHC 21 introduction to communication in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
• SHC 22 introduction to personal development in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
• SHC 23 introduction to equality and inclusion in health, social care or children’s and young people’s settings
• TDA 2.1 child and young person development

How will my work be assessed? you will be assessed in the workplace on your practical skills and complete a portfolio of evidence which will be continually assessed you will undertake independent assignments there are no exams

You can progress to a Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce
