I had a few words I wanted to say but I didn’t because I don’t like causing a scene. Our culture is so focused on themselves and no one else. We are getting selfish as a society and it’s really sad to see. I do still believe that chivalry exists though.
Furthermore, I for one actually still follow these Codes of Conduct because that's what I think is the right thing to do. I believe we all make our own choices and our parents shouldn’t have to teach us every little thing in our civilian life. We should just learn these things and do them. In medieval times however, you either followed these Codes of Conduct or you were basically frowned upon in my eyes. People would look at you different, some might not even talk to you.
Nevertheless, I honestly think the big reason why chivalry isn’t a big thing anymore is because we have more. In our lives, we have cars, we have phones, game systems, HD television, and much more that people in the 15th century never even had an idea of. We are given a lot more than we think and some of us take that for granted. I think if we didn’t have so much, we would all act different. Money and valuables changes people and that’s a known
