A real friend? Someone that brings out the best within you.
Whenever you feel invisible, he makes you feel that you’re a part of something bigger. A lot more than you can think of.
A real friend? Someone that is always there for you through thick and thin.
Always there to support you but not afraid of telling you what you’ve done wrong.
Real friends are like diamonds. They are precious, yet hard to own. All the people around you can be your friend; but not all can be your TRUE friend. But not all people that smiles at you is a true friend. Sometimes, they are just hiding from their wicked schemes of getting something from you.
It’s like catching lightning in chances to find someone who got your back and hang on through ups and downs. So where do you start? Hmm. Don’t judge the book by its cover. Or should I say, don’t judge a person with his physical appearance. Nobody wants to settle with someone beautiful but ugly personality. Look for someone who’s influential. Influential by means of helping you to go to the right track.
Someone who forgives no matter how heavy your mistake was. Someone who is understanding enough and don’t hold your mistakes against you.
A whole bunch of fake friends is nothing compared to one, true friend. But in finding one, you may have to take risks and go out of your comfort zone. He may be everywhere or maybe where we least expect. That’s why we shouldn’t push the people who care for us away, because they may be gone and we have no choice but to watch them fade away. So, be open-minded and branch out.
A true friend is not always a clone of you. Even if you share common hobbies and interests, he is still not considered a real friend. Real friends can sometimes be older or younger than you; can sometimes they can have hobbies or talents that you don’t have. So don’t limit yourself. If you got betrayed once, there are still billions and billions of good people around there.
