He wore jeans, a plain t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers. He had his hair combed to the side with gel and was wearing a watch. While delivering his message, he stood up straight and often paced across the stage, frequently gazing into the audience. It is impossible to know if he really made eye contact with anyone because the audience was dark and the stage lights were bright. When speaking, he would use basic words, and if a word would come up that he was unsure if people would know, he would give the definition. Each word was clear and able to be understood. If there was a point that he really wanted to be emphasized, he would raise his voice as well as repeat the point once or twice. After the repetition, he would pause to let what he said sink in. Often times, there were shouts of agreement or applause from the audience. The audience’s response to him during his time on the stage shows that they believe that his way of delivering his message is effective; they are understanding what he is
