Chris Kykendall Bullying

Chris Kuykendall is a football player at Hobbs High School, which is located in New Mexico. Even though he is a football player, he knows what it is like to be an outcast. He was bullied when he was younger. That is why he felt compelled to help a five-year-old boy who was a victim of bullying. The child had severe anxiety and would throw up every morning before school.

Chris stated that he was fired up when he heard about a child getting bullied because he knows firsthand what it is like. He invited the five-year-old boy to have lunch with him. When the bullies saw the boy sitting with someone who was much bigger and stronger, they left him alone. The boy had the courage to go through his day with a smile on his face.

Chris's friend, Brevin,
saw the difference that Chris had made in the bullied boy's life. He also wanted to make a difference in the life of a child who was being bullied. Chris and Brevin teamed up and started Eagle Buddies, which is an organization that teams bullied children up with athletes. They talked about their organization on "The Meredith Veira Show."
