In September 1992, a young man's decomposed body was discovered inside of an abandoned bus in the Alaskan wilderness. The young man was identified as a Christopher Johnson McCandless, an Emory graduate, who had disappeared four months prior. He had given $25,000 of his savings money to charity, abandoned his car and burned all the cash in his wallet.
