bring to Christendom, like my humble desire to sing. I do hope to bring a great contribution to the choir as I have sung in a choir since I was in second grade.I love singing in my school choir, with our weekly masses, annual lessons and carols and just singing in class. I am graded on something I love to do!
Another contribution I can bring is an exceptional work ethic. I am a hard worker and I am also diligent. I always put my best effort into my assignments and whatever is needed of me. I am self-disciplined and I will avoid procrastination at all costs. Also, whenever I do not understand something, I am never afraid to go to the teacher to ask for help. Saint Thomas More has helped further this attribute and this has helped me not only be a better student, but has also given me a love for helping people in any way I can and I am always happy to do so, especially when it comes to tutoring my schoolmates in Latin
Finally, the great gain that I will receive in going to Christendom is a reason for wanting to apply.
The great education that I would receive will not only prepare me for the field I plan to go into, but to prepare me for life. While not only a great education, but one that is not contradictory to Church teaching. In addition, I hope to gain a confidence and assertion within myself that I will admit that I do lack and rely on others approvals rather than my own. Moreover, I hope to gain lifelong friendships with Christ-like students. Having friends that boost and challenge to bring out the best in each other and better themselves. In conclusion, exploring the world and all it has to offer and seeing new cultures and be in touch with, not only my Catholic faith, but with the past, which I know I will receive at Christendom with your outstanding Study Abroad semester in
Rome.
