In Matthew 11:25, the Christian world view shows us that even the Christians with the lowest levels of education can understand the spiritual truths found in Jesus’s teachings, that a nonbelievers or non-Christian are not able to grasp; however, in matters of nature, non-Christians are as able as the Christians are, to learn about the scientific matters which are not at first recognized (The Holy Bible, 1769).
Furthermore, as a Christian myself, I would most definitely prefer to be under the care of a physician who has a relationship with God. Just as I would not want to be operated on by a preacher without any medical training, I couldn’t want to be operated on by a doctor who was without God. The Christian world view should influence all vocations, including that of psychology research conducted and the ethics of that research. Thus in refection to how my Christian world view will impact my dissertation, it will influence my topic and ethics of my research immensely, as Jesus is my hands and He is my feet. It is through his that I am able to complete my research. All of my dissertation actions with my English Language Learners, which are my intended audience, as I try to improve their successes with virtual reality experiences with be seasoned with His love and with His service.
