It is sometimes difficult to get a good assessment of the Pentecostal movement.
In my research of the movement, I read many books and paper on the subject. The following is one excerpt.

Los Angeles shaken by a mighty move of God.
The Most widely known out pouring is the Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles.
1906 at 312 Azusa St. The report states that "Heaven broke loose," services started at 9:00 a.m. and lasted to well after midnight. This revival so impacted the city that a daily newspaper was published to carry this news.
From this Revival came,
Joseph Kelly a missionary from the Philippines heard about this experience and was fill with this Pentecostal Experience.
Lucy Farrow born in slavery took her message to Liberia.
Florence Crawford, God spoke to her on the dance floor about her salvation, after conversion and the infilling then she took the message to Portland.
Aimee Semple McPherson, started in the Assembly of God, but soon started the Four-Square Gospel Church.
From the Azusa Street revival came many other great churches.
Today’s lesson brings to a close of my studies of the “2000 + Years of Christianity”.
